Alec Nielsen is co-founder and CEO of Asimov, a Boston-based startup that develops and democratizes design tools for genetic engineers. He holds a bachelors in Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. from MIT in Biological Engineering. Alec's mission is to advance humanity's ability to design living systems, enabling biotechnologies with outsized benefit to society.
