Artun is the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Uncommon, a Cambridge based cultivated meat startup. He is working on securing long term relationships with industry players to accelerate growth of the business and cultivated meat as an industry. Previously he worked at IP group, a London based venture capital firm, investing in early-stage, deep tech companies and University spinouts, focusing on chemicals, materials, clean tech and engineering sectors and taking board roles in various portfolio companies. Artun is also experienced in Technology Transfer and IP management, working at Imperial Innovations, TechTransfer office (TTO) of Imperial College London, he identified, protected, and managed intellectual property from the College. Artun is a biochemical engineer, holding an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Ege University, Turkey and a PhD in Applied Biotechnology from University of Westminster, UK.
