Acting as a Business Development Manager at VTT, Erkka is leading the commercialization activities of selected research topics within the industrial biotechnology research area at VTT with the intent of bringing VTT technologies to the market through partnerships and spin-outs. As a business development professional with a background in both biotechnology and business, he manages the business development activities at VTT to support the research teams in translating their research into commercially attractive solutions to solve some of the global challenges we face today.
