Dr. Salm is a Biosecurity Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for International Security & Cooperation (CISAC) at Stanford University. She received her PhD in Anthropology with a Designated Emphasis in Science & Technology Studies (STS) from the University of California, Davis. Her research focuses on the integration of ‘One Healthʼ principles into global health governance tools, epidemiological field investigations of zoonoses, and experimental laboratory research with potential pandemic pathogens. Dr. Salm is also a member of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) - Research Committee, where she leads a working group to address rising trends of public mistrust of science.
