Dr. Costes is the Chief for the Space Biosciences Research Branch at NASA Ames research center and a senior research scientist leading the Ames radiation biophysics laboratory. He is also the project manager for Open Science at the NASA Biological and Physical Science Division (BPS), where he leads the systems biology research, AI/ML modeling initiative and the software development for the BPS Open Science Data Repositories (OSDR), including GeneLab, which provide access to spaceflight relevant experimental data and samples.
