Zak Weston


Zak spent five years as supply chain research lead at the Good Food Institute, a non-profit think tank accelerating alternative protein food technologies, and cofounded BERA, a bioeconomy investment research and data firm. Zak has worked with end-product manufacturers, input/ingredient suppliers, investors, and upstream processing companies to scale innovation and infrastructure investment throughout the alternative protein supply chain. Zak's areas of focus include bio-manufacturing infrastructure, product formulation, ingredients and commodity markets, equipment and production technology, contract manufacturing, innovative project finance, and supply chain optimization.
