RACE AGAINST
THE CLOCK

THE BIOECONOMY WELCOME PARTY

The SynBioBeta’s Race Against the Clock (RATC) is an annual summit part of the Built With Biology Conference. The event will be held on Thursday, April 14th (2022) at the Marriott City Center in Oakland, CA (08:00 Pacific Time). 
‍
Unlike traditional start-up competitions, the Race Against the Clock event serves as the bio-economy's largest "welcome party" for the gonna be’s seeking to make the planet a better place by engineering biology. 
‍
Racers will have access to the conference venue, dedicated space for networking, meals/ appetizers, and seats for engaging with high-level discussions by thought leaders. This year, Ginkgo Bioworks is sponsoring a large number of tickets for students and young biofounders.

We welcome students from high-school to PhD and early-stage biofounders from anywhere across the globe. We have a special interest in supporting minorities and democratizing access to the Bioeconomy. We are pushing hard to include diverse backgrounds in terms of education, gender, socio-economic status, and ethnicity.
