Executive Assistant to the founders

About the role

Our founders are innovative leaders who are very passionate about accelerating fundamental scientific discovery. After meeting at UC Berkeley, they collaborated to bring their diverse backgrounds together and create LatchBio, an infrastructure for scientists who need ready to run solutions to advance their research. As executive assistant, you will work closely with and provide executive administrative support to our founders. With the responsibility of creating efficiency and organization for our founders, you will utilize your expertise to manage calendars, organize meetings, draft communication for internal and external audiences, and prioritize the various tasks assigned to you.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with the founding executive team to streamline the company's schedules.

• Draft, review and send communications on behalf of company executive(s)

• Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings

• Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executive

• Prioritize emails and respond when necessary

• Coordinate travel arrangements

• Maintain various records and documents for company executive(s)

This role might be a great fit if you ...

• Have 3+ years of experience supporting at the executive level of a start-up

• Have excellent organization and calendar management skills

• Have professional written and verbal communication skills

• Are highly proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Slack and similar workflows

• Are proactive, can take the initiative and thrive in a fast paced start up environment
