We are seeking an exceptional Analytical Chemistry Engineer Scientist to join our R&D team. This engineer will drive the design and the implementation of lab-relevant processes to extract and quantify molecules from bacterial cultures, along with the precise characterisation of products and intermediates.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise chemical extraction processes for fast iterations

• Put together an efficient pipeline characterising isoprenoids delivered by the biology team

Qualifications

Hard skills

• Ability to set up consistent methods for the extraction, identification, and quantification of organic product and intermediates

• Polymer characterisation, experience working with polymers and analysing their characteristics

• Ability to calibrate and use equipments such as HPLC, GC, SEC, NMR, and analyse their results

• Bonus: understanding of growth conditions, ability to identify bottlenecks in production process
