What we're looking for

We are seeking an exceptional Molecular Biology Engineer to join our R&D team. This engineer will design and construct complex plasmids, and conduct experiments implementing novel or optimised biological pathways in microbial strain.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and execute high-throughput cloning and DNA production strategies for the generation of expression constructs using various molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, restriction digestion, Gibson assembly, etc.)

• Measure, analyse and record results for data analysis and insight extraction

• Troubleshoot technical problems, report and analyse results

Qualifications

Hard skills

• Solid experience in molecular biology, construction of plasmids libraries

• Strong reporting system, clear data management

• Bonus: Experience in Benchling or Geneious

• Bonus: Experience in pathway design and strain engineering
