We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Scientific Sales Representative to drive revenue growth, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base on the US market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities with academic research institutions, biotechnology companies, and pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, principal investigators, lab managers, and procurement personnel.
  • Serve as a primary technical consultant to clients, providing in-depth scientific knowledge about our antibody solutions
  • Gather and relay market intelligence, including customer feedback, competitor activities to internal R&D and marketing teams to inform product development and global strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with our European-based team to ensure alignment of US market activities with overall company objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing sales
  • Actively participate in industry trade shows, conferences and exhibitions, requiring frequent travelto engage with potential and existing clients and stay abreast of market trends.

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics & Genomics, Immunology, Synthetic Biology, Life Sciences (for biotech/pharma), or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct sales experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth understanding of the antibody market, applications, and common laboratory techniques (e.g., Western Blot, ELISA, IHC, IF, Flow Cytometry).
  • Demonstrated success in developing new territories
  • Strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the US life sciences research market
  • Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to a variety of audiences clearly and effectively.
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively
