Role description:
This role is different from most roles at Colorifix. It will involve independent research with less reliance on teamwork and more focus on synergistic project areas that would add significant value to the company without playing a direct role in the existing product development pipeline.
Special projects require individuals with a high degree of dedication, focus and track record of imaginative independent project management and/or product development. Applicants for this role will need a deep understanding of biology, chemistry and engineering.

Individuals in this role will report directly to the CSO and must put forward innovative proposals that will be approved by a C-Level committee. Multitasking, organization and flexibility is essential as we expect members of Special Projects to be involved in up to three projects at a time. Whilst the role offers a higher degree of freedom and independence than most in the company, projects and their continuation will be subject to quarterly review.

Essential Skills:
● PHD – Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Biochemistry
● Capable of Independent work
● Ability to interpret and analyse various types of data
● Have interdisciplinary experience
● Capable of multi-tasking
● Highly Motivated

Desirable Skills:
● Past experience could include: Electrochemistry, Surface chemistry, Cell Biology, Synthetic Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry and Material science.
● Postdoctoral experience in these areas is also an advantage
