AI protein design platform partners with a century-old Iowa ag-ingredients manufacturer.
Ahead of their appearance at SynBioBeta 2026, May 4-7th in San Jose, Arzeda announces a product development partnership with KENT Specialty Milling to combine AI-driven protein design with KENT's ag-based ingredient manufacturing expertise.
KENT is a family-owned company headquartered in Muscatine, Iowa, manufacturing ag-based specialty ingredients since 1927. The collaboration pairs Arzeda's Intelligent Protein Design Technology™ with KENT's manufacturing infrastructure and market expertise.
The companies describe the goal as exploring new approaches that improve performance and efficiency across relevant end markets. Arzeda's platform combines computational design with lab testing and process development to create proteins with tailored properties for specific applications.
