Owkin Partners with Boehringer Ingelheim to Accelerate Drug Discovery with AI

This collaboration aims to expedite the discovery process across various indications in oncology and immunology, showcasing how advanced AI can facilitate data-driven pharmaceutical research.

The partnership builds on a pilot project conducted in 2025, where Owkin provided valuable insights into the tumor microenvironment of a gene target using its MOSAIC dataset. Under the new agreement, Owkin will not only license existing multimodal oncology data to Boehringer but will also generate new multimodal data in the field of immunology. The company leverages its global patient data network to source and generate this valuable multimodal patient data.

Boehringer Ingelheim will utilize K Pro to access and analyze this data within a unified platform that enables reproducible analyses.
