Schrödinger Unveils Bunsen, an AI Co-Scientist for Enhanced Molecular Discovery

Schrödinger introduces Bunsen, a cutting-edge AI co-scientist, designed to revolutionize molecular discovery workflows for researchers.

Schrödinger, Inc. (Nasdaq: SDGR) has launched an early access version of Bunsen, its innovative AI co-scientist aimed at assisting researchers in molecular discovery. This new tool helps in understanding scientific objectives, developing computational strategies, and interpreting results through a combination of AI and physics-based simulation. Bunsen enables researchers to expand their exploration of scientific possibilities, prioritize opportunities confidently, and expedite discovery decisions.

As computer-aided drug discovery capabilities grow, so does the complexity of designing and interpreting studies. Bunsen was specifically crafted to tackle these challenges. Unlike general AI systems, Bunsen is tailored to execute Schrödinger's validated computational methods, leveraging decades of expertise in molecular discovery. With Bunsen, researchers can evaluate more hypotheses and navigate chemical spaces effectively, allowing for higher-confidence decisions prior to experimental testing. This capability enables computational chemists to manage concurrent research sessions and enhance productivity.

The collaboration with NVIDIA and Google Cloud brings a co-engineered full stack AI platform to early customers, facilitating the scalability of research organizations' use of the platform across various discovery programs. This partnership also integrates Google Cloud's elastic computing infrastructure with Schrödinger's platform, enhancing it with the NVIDIA BioNeMo™ Agent Toolkit and NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.
