Scribe Therapeutics Completes Initial Public Offering and Private Placement
Scribe Therapeutics has successfully closed its initial public offering, raising approximately $155.51 million to advance its CRISPR-based genetic medicines.

Scribe Therapeutics Inc. (“Scribe Therapeutics”) (Nasdaq: SCTX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on engineering in vivo CRISPR technologies aimed at extending healthy lifespans through disease prevention and therapeutic interventions, announced the successful closing of its upsized initial public offering (IPO) of 9,867,000 shares of common stock. This includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase 1,287,000 additional shares at an IPO price of $15.00 per share, with all shares being offered by Scribe Therapeutics. The company’s common stock commenced trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on July 24, 2026, under the ticker symbol “SCTX.”
The joint book-running managers for the offering included Leerink Partners, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Guggenheim Securities, and Wells Fargo Securities. The total gross proceeds from the IPO, inclusive of the underwriters’ full option exercise and a concurrent private placement, amounted to approximately $155.51 million, prior to underwriting discounts and commissions.
A registration statement concerning the securities sold in the IPO has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and became effective on July 23, 2026. The offering was conducted solely via a prospectus, with final copies available from the respective underwriters.
In addition to the IPO, Scribe Therapeutics also announced the completion of a concurrent private placement of 500,000 shares of its common stock at the IPO price to Sanofi on July 27, 2026. This private placement was not registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
